Andrea Blanford is an American Anchor/Reporter working with the ABC11 News Team as a Weekend Evening Anchor and Weekday Reporter. There she co-anchors the station’s Weekend Eyewitness News and reports during weekdays for the 4, 5, and 6 p.m. newscasts. She joined the station in June 2014 where she was a general assignment reporter before she later started working as a fill-in anchor.

His North Carolina roots run deep in her. She joined the Triangle after working in Greenville, NC where she was working with the WNCT-TV. There, she spent about four years as she was covering the news “Down East.” Additionally, she had also previously worked with the team as a Morning Anchor and Noon Anchor/Producer for about two years.
While in college, she was serving on the cheerleading team during all of her four years at Carolina. Among her most memorable moments was cheering on at Roy’s Boys during the 2009 National Championship in Detroit. Away from work, she loves painting.
