During his split role, he was working extensively as he was covering the highly-contested U.S. Senate race between incumbent Sen. in addition to state Sen and Thad Cochran.

Additionally, he was also a part of the Associated Press Award-winning “Blitz 16,” which is a program that was named Best Sportscast in Mississippi.
