Tim Pulliam is an American Anchor/Reporter working with the ABC11 News team as a Reporter where he covers local and Breaking News every weeknight on ABC11 Television, mobile and digital platforms. He kickstarted his television career in the year 2006 where he was working in Wilmington, N.C, and later moved on to work in Columbia, South Carolina.

After working in Washington D.C. as a writer for various news publications and a media strategist for a nonprofit, Tim is happy to return home to his roots in North Carolina. Through his reporting, he has been able to travel to Florida where he was breaking several crime stories and also covering high-profile court cases such as the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial. The year 2015 saw him making news reports on the Michael Dunn trial prior to featuring in an award-winning HBO documentary that was titled ” 3 1/2 Minutes: Ten Bullets.” This is a film that was explaining the life and murder of unarmed Jackonsiville teenager Jordan Davis. The 17-year-old was Congresswoman Lucy McBath’s only child. The film also happens to appear on Netflix and he is happy to be part of the team.
The year 2016 saw him cover the historic opening of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. where he was interviewing the museum’s lead architect and Durham-native Phil Freelon in addition to Stevie Wonder and Oprah Winfrey.
Away from, he enjoys traveling throughout the country and abroad, exploring new restaurants and physical fitness.
