Prior to his role at KMTV, Zach gained recognition as an award-winning sports anchor and reporter from the Nebraska Broadcasting Association, while working at KSNB Local 4 in Hastings, Nebraska.
During his time at Iowa State, he held the position of sports director for ISUtv, the student-run television station, and contributed his skills to the 88.5 KURE Sports radio team. He further enriched his skill set through internships with notable organizations such as WOWT in Omaha, WOI-5 in Des Moines, the Iowa Cubs (the Chicago Cubs Triple-A affiliate), and Iowa State Athletics at Cyclones. tv.

Zach’s roots trace back to Council Bluffs, Iowa, and he’s enthusiastic about bringing stories from his community to the forefront.
