Joseph has spent his entire life in the Midwest, having been born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He has experienced the full spectrum of weather that the Midwest has to offer. His passion for meteorology was ignited back in 2011 when the St. Louis area was struck by a historic blizzard and a significant tornado, and since then, he’s been vigilant in observing the skies and keeping his family and friends informed about impending severe weather.
From April 2018 to September 2019, he held the position of Delivery Driver at Domino’s. Following this, he transitioned to the role of a Media Production Assistant in September 2019. His career took a meteorological turn when he was promoted to a Weather Forecaster at KOMU-TV in November 2020. When he’s not scanning the heavens, Joseph is an ardent reader with an eclectic taste in genres. He enjoys the great outdoors, particularly hiking and exploring, often exploring the charming small towns that surround Omaha.
