Yet, as she candidly puts it, they missed the Midwest tremendously, prompting their return to be closer to family and friends.

She expresses her fulfillment working in television in Omaha as a way to connect with and give back to a community that has been incredibly supportive of her over the years.

Causes associated with the concept of home, safety, and enhancing a home’s beauty deeply resonate with Mary, as she’s an avid do-it-yourself enthusiast. She revels in taking on diverse projects, such as framing, drywall, tile work, woodworking, and more, finding it a fun and rewarding way to learn and grow, with tangible results to show for her efforts.
