He went to Indiana University where he attained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Telecommunications. Aiello serves as a general assignment reporter at CBS New York covering breaking stories and news in the Northern Suburbs. Since joining WCBS in 2002, he has won several awards and honors including the 2020 NY Emmy Award for General Assignment Reporting. He has also covered several stories including going to Paris, France to cover the aftermath of the terror attacks of November 2015.
