Moye serves as a sports reporter and anchors at WFXR-TV based in Roanoke, Virginia. Prior to working at WFXR, he worked at KYTX CBS 19 in Tyler, Texas where he served as a multi-skilled journalist and sports anchor from January 2014 to December 2018. While still working in Texas, he organized several major sports events including Super Bowl LI in Houston and the Astros in World Series. He also enclosed the men’s NCAA March Madness appearances and the Stephen F. Austin women’s and men’s basketball teams.
Prior to working at KYTX, he worked at Chicago Defender in Chicago, Illinois where he served as a digital journalist. During his tenure at Chicago Defender, he created and curated Web 2.0 and social media platforms for the Chicago Defender. He was also awarded the 2012 Abbott-Sengstacke Scholarship.
Previously, from September 2012 to November 2012, he worked at The Red Line Project in Chicago, Illinois where he served as a multimedia journalist whereby he enclosed Election Night 2012. It was here that he received a Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence Award. Prior to working at The Red Line Project in Chicago, he worked at Fresh Outlook Online Newspaper in Cardiff, UK where he served as a foreign correspondent from February 2011 to September 2011.
