Paul Caiano is an American Meteorologist working for WNYT News Channel 13 in Albany, New York as a Chief Meteorologist and weeknight weather forecaster. He joined the station in July 1993 as a fill-in meteorologist.

Caiano works for NewsChannel 13 serving the station as a Chief Meteorologist. After joining the station in July 1993, he went on to become the station’s fill-in meteorologist. Later on, in November 1993, he went on to become the station’s Weekend Meteorologist. At the moment, aside from being the Chief Meteorologist, he brings you the weeknight weather forecasts.
Caiano’s first job was when he was about 11 years old where he was working as a paperboy. he used to deliver about 60 newspapers to customers and made around $50 weekly. This money was enough for him as he was buying baseball cards, and playing Pac-Man at the stationery shop. Aside from this, he is the Tanglewood Music Center’s official meteorologist located in Lenox, Massachusetts.
To keep them aware of any approaching extreme weather, he was working closely with the director of Tanglewoods facilities to keep large crowds safe at the outdoor venue. When he rubbed the unique Delaware River Rubbing Mud on the baseballs used during a Yankee match in May of 1996 he was a part of baseball history. Aside from this, he was forecasting the weather regularly for WAMC Public Radio. As for his education, Caiano attended the University at Albany, SUNY where he studied between 1989 and May 1993. There, he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Atmospheric Science and Meteorology.
Away from work, he enjoys doing most outdoor activities especially those related to sports. He may be found participating in local softball, and hockey leagues all year round. Aside from this, some of his other hobbies include forecasting the weather for various cities throughout the U.S. daily and his favorite weather is usually a winter snowstorm.
He may also be chasing thunderstorms in the plains or putting himself in the path of a destructive hurricane along the east coast. Caiano also enjoys reading the maps and forecasting the weather, and being out in the actual storm is what it is usually all about.
