Ford works for WPXI as a reporter. For the past two years, she worked for KDKA-TV as a Reporter reporting every angle of the COVID-19 pandemic and major stories in the region from the Southside fire that brought down an historic building to the Black Lives Matter Protests in the city.
Before, she worked at WSPA-TV in Greenville, SC as a Reporter and at WCTI-12 in Greenville, NC as a Weekend Anchor and Reporter. She reported the story of BMX legend Dave Mirra’s death, the landfall of Hurricane Matthew that caused historic flooding in the state, and spent weeks in the courtroom for the Townville Elementary School shooter trial while in the Carolinas.
Also, she had the opportunity to travel to the Florida Panhandle to report the aftermath of Hurricane Michael, which is one of only four Category 5 hurricanes to make landfall in the U.S. Ford joined West Virginia University where she studied Journalism. When she’s not working, she likes paddle boarding, spending time with her dog and family, reading, and traveling.
