Allison works for WPXI-TV as a meteorologist. It has been her lifelong dream to do what she loves in the city and call home. She enjoys taking viewers on a weather journey through live cameras and walking you through the forecast step by step. She wants the viewer to know exactly what the forecast is going to be.

In 2006, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Earth Science with a concentration in Broadcast Meteorology from California University of Pennsylvania. Allison has won several AP Awards for Outstanding Weather reports including reporting Hurricane Sandy on Eastern Shore in 2013.

Sixteen years ago, she worked at HSTV in Uniontown, PA, as the Chief Meteorologist. Also, she worked in Salisbury, MD for five years, as the Weekday Evening Meteorologist, in Steubenville, Ohio and freelanced in Johnstown, PA. Since June 2017 she has worked as a freelance meteorologist for WPXI-TV.

She reported the February 2020 snowstorm live in the field for the WPXI Morning News. Lately, she reported the October 21st, 2021 tornado outbreak that produced 9 tornadoes across the Pittsburgh area.
