Prior to working at WBZ-TV, she worked at WTIC-TV based in Hartford, Connecticut where she served as a reporter and spoke exclusively with Hartford firefighters on allegations of mismanagement after a death in their department. During her tenure at WTIC-TV, she also provided live reports and continuing coverage of the Boston Marathon bombings in April 2013 as well as exposed significant errors on the Web site of Access Health CT, Connecticut’s online health insurance exchange.
She was also nominated for a New England Emmy for General Assignment Reporting and uncovered a controversial exception in Connecticut’s landmark gun legislation allowing for the sale of assault weapons. Previously, from February 2011 to July 2012, she worked at WFFF-TV based in Burlington, Vermont where she served as a video journalist from February 2011 to July 2012.
While working at WFFF-TV, she produced in-depth coverage of the missing New Hampshire girl, Celina Cass as well as covered widespread damage caused by Tropical Storm Irene. She also covered a landmark trial over nuclear power in Vermont and exposed controversial behavior in a Federal education program.
