In this role, he is in charge of severe weather reporting, climate, and environmental storytelling, and maintaining a robust social media presence. Prior to working at CBS Boston WBZ-TV, he worked at The Weather Channel where he served as an on-camera meteorologist based in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, he delivered breaking news reports for NBC Nightly News, TODAY, MSNBC, CNBC, and local NBC affiliates.
Previously, from June 2009 to June 2010, he worked at WFTX Boston 25 News where he served as a freelance Meteorologist, filling in on weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday). He previously worked at Western Mass News where he served as a meteorologist, reporter, and anchor Co-chor for the daily morning show 5-7 am, GMA cut-ins until 9 am, and Noon news. Upon joining Western Mass News in April 2006, he started off by serving as a weekend meteorologist.
Prior to working at Western Mass News, he worked at Juknis Farm LLC where he served as a greenhouse Assistant from February 1999 to June 2010. He previously worked at Springfield College where he served as an Adjunct Professor from August 2008 to December 2008. He is also an active volunteer at New England Aquarium where he is an ambassador board and at Mount Washington Observatory where he was an Edutrip guide. He is also the author of Mighty Storms of New England: The Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Blizzards, and Floods That Shaped the Region.
