Hall serves at WUSA9 as a Weekend Evening News Anchor/Reporter. He anchors the 6 PM and 11 PM newscasts and reports for all the station’s broadcasts and platforms. Since joining the station, he has been guiding viewers through numerous significant events such as multiple protests for racial equality in our nation’s capital, and the storm of scandals that involved the political leaders in Virginia.
He was honored with 2 regional Edward R. Murrow awards and 8 Emmy Awards for his reporting and writing. Before joining WUSA, he worked for WTIC-TV (FOX) in Hartford, Connecticut as the main evening anchor. There, he did an extensive report on the struggles of Vietnam veterans, and the coverage aired nationally on all Tribune Media TV stations.
Before moving to Connecticut, he served at WTVR-TV (CBS) in Richmond, Virginia as a news reporter and news anchor for the 5 PM newscasts. While there, he reported on various stories ranging from flying aboard through a P-3 hurricane hunter aircraft many times to consistently investigating wrongdoing by local leaders. Hall has also worked for KBIA-FM (NPR) where he reported on politics, and for KOMU-TV (NBC) as a general assignment reporter.
While in college, Hall served at NBC4 in Washington, D.C. as an Emma L. Bowen work-study scholar for 4 years. He started his TV career while in high school where he worked with a former talk show for teens, “Teen Summit” at Black Entertainment TV as a “Posse Member.”
