DeJuan Hoggard is an American Anchor/Reporter working with the ABC11 News Team where he co-anchors the weekend evenings news and also reports during weekdays for the News at 4, 5, and 6 since joining the station in April 2016. He kickstarted his career in journalism working as a reporter/host for his high school’s television news program.

While Hoggard was in his second year in school(a sophomore), he was working as an intern in San Diego. There, he did about everything. This is from working as a Master Control Operator and Production Assistant to working as an on-air host for the station’s PPPR Plus web-streamed football program and Sports Producer. Through his contributions, he was able to earn many Emmy Awards for the Prep Pigskin Report.
Due to his anger for change, he went ahead to be hired for the Launch of One America in the year 2013 where he was hired as an anchor and as a reporter. While working at OAN, he was anchoring the “Early Edition” of the One America News. Additionally, he was also covering national politics, the San Bernardino shootings, among other breaking news stories.
Away from work, he enjoys golfing, trying out new restaurants, traveling, catching matinee movies, and watching football. He is also a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
