In 2004, she joined Jones College Prep where she attained her High School Diploma in 2008. While still in high school, she was an active member of the African American Club, Student Recruitment Team, and Who’s Who Among High School Students. Later in 2008, she joined Hampton University where she attained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism. She was an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists, Center for Broadcast Excellence, Sophomore /Junior /Senior Executive Council, Kappa Tau Alpha Communications Honor Society, and Miss Hampton University Scholarship Pageant.
While still in college, she worked at Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications where she served as a news anchor and news writer as well as a producer from March 2012 to May 2012 based in Hampton, Virginia. Previously, from Ma 2011 to August 2011, she interned at WAVY-TV 10/FOX 43 where she learned to work on the assignment desk, participated in news station community outreach events, and worked as a Production Assistant for The Hampton Roads Show. She previously worked at WVON 1690 AM where she was a radio broadcasting intern and production assistant from May 2010 to August 2010.

Prior to working at WBZ-TV, she worked at CBS4/FOX30 Action News Jax where she served as an anchor and reporter from March 2018 to June 2022 based in Jacksonville, Florida. She previously worked at WSAV-TV based in Savannah, Georgia where she served as a fill-in news anchor and producer for the weekend evening promotional topicals and the 6:00 a.m. Morning Coastal Sunrise Weekend and 9:00 a.m. WSAV News 3 Today Newscasts.
