Before transitioning to TV News, she worked in radio where she served as an anchor and reporter for several radio stations including WHJJ-AM in Providence, Rhode Island; WRKO-AM and WBUR-FM, WGIR-AM in Manchester, New Hampshire; the National Public Radio affiliate in Boston; and WLNH-FM/WKZU-AM in Laconia, New Hampshire.
Since she started her journalism career, she has won several awards and honors including a New England Emmy Award. She was also honored with the Tom Phillips UPI New England Broadcasting Award and several honors from the New Hampshire Associated Press Broadcasters Association. The Rhode Island Associated Press Broadcasters Association honored her first place.
