Miller works as an Anchor/Reporter at CBS 6 News. She was inducted into the Virginia Communications Hall of Fame in 2015 and honored with the Virginia Association of Broadcasters (VAB) Distinguished Broadcaster Award in 2016.
Until September 2019, she was the original co-host of “Virginia This Morning” when she joined the anchor team of the new CBS 6 News at Four. She has been a main anchor on every weekday newscast at WTVR: mornings, noon, 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 7 p.m., and 11 p.m. in her tenure.
She enjoyed challenging area students as Host of “Battle of the Brains”, Central Virginia’s longest-running high school academic quiz show since 2003 which airs Saturdays at 10 a.m. on CBS 6 and 11 a.m. on WTKR-News 3 Norfolk.
Before, she shared her knowledge of television and radio as an Adjunct Professor at Reynolds Community College in Richmond for over forty years. Miller spent weekends and nights speaking and hosting community events and making other personal appearances.
Before joining the station, she worked in Binghamton, New York as a TV news Anchor/Reporter and in Rochester, New York as a freelance “Lifestyles” reporter. She attended a renowned school where she graduated and received a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

In the year 2000, she was honored with the Richmond Broadcasters Hall of Fame-Broadcaster of the Year. In 2007, he won the Urban League of Greater Richmond “Community Legend” Award and the Richmond Broadcasters Hall of Fame Inductee-Lifetime Achievement Award.
She was awarded YWCA “Outstanding Women” Award in 2008 and the Virginia Association of Broadcasters-George A. Bowles in 2015. Again in 2015, she received Induction into the VCU/Virginia Communications Hall of Fame.
