In addition to these roles, she also sets up interviews, research, fact checks, and pitches original content in weekly editorial meetings, and writes and helps oversee feature news reports from start to finish. Prior to working at WBZ-TV, she worked at KTSM News Channel 9 based in El Paso, Texas where she served as an evening anchor from October 2014 to June 2016.
During her tenure at KTSM, she also wrote and edited VOSOTs, headlines, anchor packages, teases, and cut-ins as well as represented and promoted the station by engaging with the local community, organizing events, and volunteering with local organizations. Previously, from April 2013 to September 2014, she worked at WHDH-TV based in Boston, Massachusetts where she served as a news coordinator. While still working at WHDH-TV, she also organized and prioritized assignments for editors. Monitored all video being fed in and out of the station as well as assembled pitch reels for reporters & photographers.
