This led to the elimination of the decades-old injustice that took money from the pockets of surviving spouses. The coverage, storming the Hill, on many occasions, alongside the surviving couples and holding lawmakers accountable assisted this bill to reach historic milestones. She made WUSA earn recognition from a number of lawmakers, as well as in the Congressional Record: Proceedings and Debates in the 116th Congress for shining a light on this crucial issue.
Since joining WUSA, she has had more unique assignments such as how to trapeze, and having the chance to go behind the scenes with working military dogs.
