She covered the Twin Peaks biker shootout, and developments stemming from the West Fertilizer Plant explosion and contributed to the station’s live coverage of Baylor University’s alleged sexual assault cases.

Castillo made her way back to the Rocky Mountain region and worked in Denver, Colorado as a reporter.
