The Emmy award-winning journalist co-anchored the Emmy award-winning ‘Taking Action Against Domestic Violence campaign and Primetime Special for the last 10 years. Wendy also covered major hurricanes while in the Bay area including live continuous coverage during Hurricanes Jean, Francis, Ivan, Charlie, and most recently Hurricane Irma.

Ryan also covered other major local events including the 2012 Republican National Convention, the 2008 Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Championship, the 2004 Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series, and several years of live coverage of the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon.

Wendy spent almost 10 years in Los Angeles, California during her career. where she worked as an anchor and reporter for KWHY-TV, The Business Channel. While there she covered the financial markets and interviewed top CEO’s from around the country. Afterward, she moved to Miami to launch her national show with NFN, Net Financial News.

Ryan also worked for a national cable network focusing on international issues and covering the Middle East peace process. She was the main evening anchor for WICS-TV in Springfield, Illinois.
