Two days after earning his diploma, he flew across the country to begin his journalism career. His first job was in San Diego where he wrote for a newspaper. Afterward, he realized that TV News was where he needed to be.
Robert’s experience now includes newsrooms in seven different states: California, Texas, Arkansas, New York, Utah, Virginia, and Florida. In 2013 he spent a year in China teaching English to children and adults. He loves the adventure of seeing America and becoming immersed in local culture and meeting new people. Boyd is a big fan of playing bocce ball with friends, road-tripping to scenic destinations, attending sporting events, and going to the beach.
