Graf attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida where she studied between 2003 and 2007. There, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Meteorology. While there, she was a proud member of the National Weather Association, Omicron Delta Kappa, Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, Chi Epsilon Pi Meteorology Honors Society, Order of Omega, and the American Meteorology Society.
Vicki Graf Career
Graf works for Boston 25 News serving the station as a Weekend Evening Meteorologist and Weeday Weather Contributor. She happens to be a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist(CBM) and also holds the National Weather Association Seal of Approval(NWA). Vicki credits her 4th-grade teacher for helping her gain interest in weather at an early age. Back in the year 1991, she took a specific interest in tropical systems when Hurricane Bob ravaged New England.
Prior to joining the WFXT-Boston 25 News, she was working for WSOC located in Charlotte, North Carolina. There, she was part of an Emmy-nominated weather team. She served the station as a Weekend Morning Meteorologist between February 2013 and May 2018. Prior to this, she was working in Augusta, Georgia for WRDW-TV where she was privileged to be awarded “Best Weather Reporting” by the Georgia AP for outstanding coverage during an outbreak of severe weather and a rare winter snowstorm. There, she served the station as a Weekend Meteorologist between June 2010 and January 2013.
Prior to this, she was serving WDHN located in Dothan, Alabama as a Chief Meteorologist. She worked for the station between July 2008 and June 2010. Asides from this, she has also worked for Weather Services International in Andover, Massachusetts serving the station as a Customer Support Engineer/Inflight Sales. She worked for the station between June 2007 and July 2008.
Away from work, she loves staying active and used to be a gymnast but now is a fan of running. Previously, she has completed about 4 marathons and hopes to run the Boston Marathon someday. Asides from this, she is happy to be back home near her family with extra time to explore more of New England.
