Goulston works for Boston 25 News serving the station as a General Assignment Reporter. Serving in this role, he has distinguished himself as a compelling, compassionate storyteller having a commitment to providing accurate and clear information to his community.

Prior to joining the Boston 25 News team, he was serving as a New Haven Bureau Chief at WFSB-TV(CBS) located in Connecticut. There, he served between October 2008 and January 2015. Asides from this, he was among the first journalists on the scene at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT. This is in addition to supplying live reports for CNN and CBS’s national special coverage.

During his time working in New England, he contributed to national outlets on several of the region’s high-profile incidents. These include a Bridgeport man’s plot to set off explosives in Times Square, the Stamford chimpanzee attack, and the Christmas Day (2011) fire in Stamford. He has also worked for WFTV in Nashville serving the station as a Reporter and Fill-in Anchor. It is during his time at the station that he won an Emmy Award for his reporting on “Underwater Warriors.” This is a program that provides therapeutic scuba-diving experiences for recent war veterans.

During his time in Nashville, his Boston roots and love for Dunkin Donuts and the Red Sox often prompted the question of whether or not he is usually around there. Goulston’s New England background was never more evident than when he mistook biscuit gravy for a bowl of clam chowder.

Asides from this, Goulston has worked for 47 ABC – WMDT serving the station as a News Reporter between 1999 and 2000. This is in addition to working for Gwinnett News & Entertainment Television serving the station as a Reporter/Producer/Photographer. There, he worked between 1998 and 1999. Previously, he was also working for New England Cable News serving as a Weekend Assignment Editor. There, he worked between 1997 and 1998.
