Asides from this, he is a part-time lecturer at Northeastern University. This is in addition to being the chair of the Arlington Martin Luther King Junior Birthday Observance Committee. Asides from this, he is a proud member of the Boston Association of Black Journalists, and a trained facilitator in gender-based violence prevention through Northeastern University’s Center for Sport in Society, and the NAACP.
Crystal holds a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College, and a Masters degree in Media Advocacy from Northeastern University’s College of Arts, Media and Design. Crystal grew up in Springfield, MA, but has called Arlington home since 2017 joining her husband and his family who have lived in town for more than four generations.
Prior to joining the Boston 25 News team, he was working as a Host for Various where he worked in the year 2014. He has also previously worked for Cox Communications as a Freelance Radio Announcer/Producer. There, he worked between December 2010 and July 2011. He has also worked for Cox Radio as a Host/Producer of “The Electric Drum” 94.3 WYBC-FM.
Previously, he was working for WTNH-TV serving the station as a News Reporter. There, he worked between August 2007 and July 2011. Prior to this, he was working for WGGB-TV serving the station as a Producer/Reporter. There, he worked between September 2004 and July 2007.
