Rick Quan is an American award-winning, veteran broadcast journalist working for KITV as a News Anchor since January 2020. He anchors for the station at 10 pm alongside Mika Miyashima.

Quan works as a News Anchor at KITV4. Since joining the station, he has worked as a Sports Anchor and Reporter. Prior to that, he worked for KPIX-TV and KGO-TV as a Sports Anchor and Reporter. To him, coming back to the Islands to work for his former station is truly a dream come true. The local sportscasters and sportswriters named him Hawaii Sportscaster of the Year during his first stint at KITV.
Quan has been honored with many awards such as; recognition from the Radio-TV News Directors Association and two regional Emmys from the Associated Press and the Peninsula Press Club. The readers of the Alameda Newspaper Group selected him as their favorite TV Anchorperson four times. He is popularly known for being an award-winning documentary producer and for his work as a sportscaster. Additionally, he produced the “Art of Gaman”, a documentary that showcased the artwork of Japanese American World War II internees.
