Reid Kisselback is an American Meteorologist working for WNYT News Channel 13 in Albany, New York as a Weekday Noon Meteorologist. He joined the station in July 2019 as the weekend evening meteorologist.

Reid Kisselback Education
Kisselback attended Cohoes High School where he studied between 2009 and 2013. There, he was privileged to graduate with a 96% GPA. During his time in High School, he was a member of the Drama Club, Select Choir, Improv Club, Chorus, Band, National Honor Society, and Student Council. He was also a Senior Class President, Cross Country, Indoor/Outdoor Track (distance runs, shotput, and discus), and Founder of the Anti-Bullying Club.
After this, he went on to join the University at Albany, SUNY where he studied between June 2013 and 2017. There, he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences graduating with a 3.20 GPA. He also obtained a Minor in Mathematics and Geography. He was also privileged to obtain a Certificate in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and a George M. Phillip Scholarship 2015. There, he was a member of the Co-Ed Acapella group Pitch Please, the American Meteorological Society, and The Driving Force.
Reid Kisselback Career
Kisselback works for WNYT serving the station as a Weekday Noon Meteoologist. He began his broadcasting career serving as a Weekend Morning /Evening meteorologist and Multimedia Journalist for WKTV in Utica for about a year and eight months.
Aside from his responsibility as a Meteorologist, he also enjoys going to schools in the area and discussing the intricacies of meteorology. During his time at the University, he was also serving as an intern at WTEN News 10 ABC Albany in the summer of 2016. This is in addition to serving as an intern with the National Weather Service located in Albany and the New York State Mesonet.
He was also involved on campus as an Orientation Leader for three summers, and a Resident Assistant(RA) for about 3 semesters. He has also been an active member of the American Meteorological Society and was serving as a Vice President senior year.
In addition to this, he has also served as a co-founder and president of a commuter student group titled The Driving Force. This group was formed to help commuter students find out about events and resources available to them on campus.
Away from work, he enjoys staying outdoors whether it’s running, hiking, playing Frisbee, or biking. Aside from this, he enjoys singing, axe throwing, learning how to play instruments and can play the trumpet, and a couple of songs on the harmonica. He is also able to play drums and knows a bit of the guitar. In addition to this, he enjoys doing exercise, and photography.
