Onorato works for NewsChannel 13 where he serves the station as a Morning News co-anchor. Since joining NewsChannel 13, he has been eager to tell the great sports stories the Capitol Region has to offer. Additionally, he also covered the Giants training camp in the summer of 2010 where he was producing and reporting on a series of high school football team profiles which were titled High School Football Two-A-Days.
Back in the summer of 2011, he turned his focus to Saratoga Race Course for a series of feature stories. In this series, Summer at Saratoga, he highlighted a handful of the traditions such as the race for picnic tables on Travers Saturday. These make the 40 days of racing so special in Spa City. Additionally, he is particularly grateful for the opportunity to tell the story of Michael Mercado, a Capital Region resident and one of the nation’s best blind golfers.
Aside from NewsChannel 13, he also works for Onorato & Miller (a sports talk show) as a Host and Producer. He has been working there since March 2019. There, he has been serving as a Host and producer of the only televised sports show in the Albany, New York market. Aside from this, he has also live-streamed to NewsChannel 13 social media channels.
Prior to joining NewsChannel 13 News, he was serving as a News reporter and Anchor for WWNY in Watertown, NY. There, he had the privilege of covering sitting and former presidents of the United States’ visits to Fort Drum which houses the 10th Mountain division. The mountain division is one of the most deployed units of the U.S. Amy. At the moment he resides in Saratoga Springs where his passion for horse racing has continued to grow.
He has also worked with Onorato & Bagnardi as a Host / Producer where he worked between Mar 2019 and May 2022. There, he was serving as a co-host of Onorato and Bagnardi, the only visual, live-streamed sports talk show in New York’s Capital Region.
