Milliken serves WAGA as a feature reporter for Good Day Atlanta. He joined the FOX 5 Atlanta team in March 2012 and has served the station for over a decade. Nonetheless, his initial job was when he served in Idaho Falls at KIDK-TV as a news anchor.
Further, he served in Orlando, Florida at News 13 Orlando as a news reporter for 3 years since January 2005. Prior to serving in Atlanta, he served in Richmond, Virginia at WRIC TV 8 ABC as a meteorologist. While in Richmond, he gained both his American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association television seals of approval.
To boot, while in Richmond, he got a 2010 Emmy award for Best Weather Anchor and was rewarded by the Virginia Associated Press with a Best Weathercast award two years consecutively. Additionally, he was acknowledged with an MDA Broadcast Journalism award in 2008.
Moreover, in 2002 and 2003 he received SPJ Mark of Excellence awards. In 2002, he gained he received an RTNDA award from the University of Florida chapter. While serving in Atlanta, he has gained various Emmy awards.
When he is not working, he serves as a volunteer at local community theaters both behind the scene and on-stage. Else, he really enjoys horror movies and is famed for singing in a car.
