In addition to her roles at WDBJ, she is also working as a communications coordinator at The Lampstand since August 2021. While at The Lampstand, she works with the company in serving kids who have experienced sexual exploitation and trafficking. This company also offers wraparound services for all survivors as well as prevention education for youth and professional training for local groups.
Prior to working at WDBJ, she worked at WCYB/WEMT/CW4 based in Bristol, Virginia where she served as a reporter from May 2010 to May 2011. Previously, from 2008 to 2009, she worked at The Statesman in Tyler, Texas where she served as a sports reporter. Prior to joining the journalism world, she worked in the US Army where she worked on the diesel engines.
