Matt Brode is an American meteorologist who is working for KVOA as the chief meteorologist. He joined the NBC affiliate in May 2013. Additionally, he has served the station for more than half a decade.

Brode serves KVOA as the chief meteorologist. He joined the NBC affiliate in May 2013. Additionally, he has served the station for more than half a decade. Prior to this, he served at the CBS affiliate in Portland, Oregon for 3 years. From 2006 to 2010, had previously served the station as a weekday morning meteorologist.
Further, he served in Portland, Oregon KOIN-TV as a weekday meteorologist. Moreover, he served in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida at WPBF News 25 as a weekend meteorologist. In addition to that, he served in Duluth at KDLH-TV as a meteorologist. Furthermore, holds the AMS Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society.
Also, he is an ardent reader, a good guitarist, and a massive Michigan fan. To boot, he serves as a self-acclaimed deadhead having attended numerous Grateful Dead concerts while they were still on tour. Else, he has a passion for sharing his knowledge of the weather.
