Quinn serves as the lead weather anchor and is on air during the CBS Evening News in New York City. Prior to this role, he worked as the station’s morning Saturday weather anchor. Moreover, he is also working at WCBS-AM 880 where he presents their weather reports. Since he started working at WCBS News, he has won several awards and honors including 14 Emmy Awards for “Best Weather Anchor” in 2014, 2015,2010, 2011, and 2012.
Prior to working at WCBS News, he worked at WTVJ in Miami, Florida where he was a weather anchor on “Today in South Florida.” While at WTVJ, he received an Emmy award for “Best on Air Talent”. He started working as a weekend anchor and reporter in June 2007 replacing John Bolaris. Quinn worked alongside Max Mayfield during the 2005 hurricane season while tracking the most active tropical season in history.
Prior to working at WTVJ, he worked at WVIR in Charlottesville, Virginia where he served as a weekend weather anchor and evening news anchor. He previously worked at WADA-LP in Charlottesville as well as at WQMZ-FM, and at WVAO where he served as a morning show co-host and news director.
