Katie Nordeen is an American Anchor/Reporter working for FOX8 WGHP in High Point, North Carolina as the Evening News Anchor and the face of the annual FOX8 Community Baby Shower. She joined the station in June 2010.

He started Sew NC. when he was 24 years old after he set out with a loan from his grandmother, a 12” wide printer, and a small shop with a bed and shower that he lived in for the first year.
Reece’s stubbornness and grit drove him to seek out new customers, add new equipment, and expand his offerings at every opportunity. Fast forward to 2024, and the brand has evolved into Sew NC, grown into a 10,000 sq ft facility with three full-time employees, and expanded its offerings to include apparel and embroidery. The couple is proud to be parents to their three daughters, Hattie, Charlotte, and Joey.

Nordeen serves as the Evening News Anchor and the face of the annual FOX8 Community Baby Shower at FOX8 WGHP based in High Point, North Carolina. Upon joining FOX8 WGHP in June 2010, she started off by serving as a general Assignment News Reporter before being given a raise and serving as a Morning Anchor in 2011 and Evening Anchor in 2013.
Prior to working at FOX8 WGHP, she worked at WDIO/WIRT-TV based in Duluth, Minnesota where she served as a reporter from June 2008 to June 2010. She is always advocating for people with intellectual disabilities and is also a board member of the Special Olympics North Carolina.
