Three weeks after his graduation from college, he joined the FOX40/WDBD team located in his hometown where he was working as a sports reporter.
In addition, he was also a long-time talk host for ESPN Radio affiliate station located in Jackson where he has also published as a writer in several outlets such as the New York Daily News and Golf Magazine. In addition, he is also a regular studio host and a play-by-play announcer for the NFHS Network where she was covering the Mississippi High School football championships, which is his favorite assignment.
The year 2007 saw him work as an announcer for Trinity University. There, he called the famous “Mississippi Miracle” play. This is in addition to covering a 15-lateral game-winning touchdown. The game was nominated for an ESPY award and was also named Time Magazine’s No. 1 sports moment of the year.
Away from work, he is a singer and an avid golfer. During the fall of weekends, he can be found cheering on his beloved New Orleans Saints and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. In addition, he is also forever in search f the next great meal and where to travel next.
