Loresca works with the ABC13 team as a morning weekday meteorologist. Prior to joining the AccuWeather team at ABC13, she was working with the KNBC weather team in Los Angeles where she was serving as a morning and noon Meteorologist since the year 2007. Previously, she was also working with the WSVN team located in Miami where she was serving as a weathercaster for the station’s top-rated morning and noon newscasts since August of the year 2004.
In her career, she has covered two of the most devastating hurricane seasons in recent history. The first hurricane she covered was while working with the WSVN team where she covered the 2004 hurricane season with Hurricane Frances. Later on, the year 2005 saw her cover and contributing to reports for her station on the National Hurricane Center during hurricanes Wilma, Katrina, and Rita.
Between the month of August 2002 and August 2004, she was working as a morning and noon weathercaster for the KGPE-TV located in Fresno, California. Prior to this, she was working with the KGET-TV where she was working as a noon weathercaster and assignment editor between the months of January 2001 and August 2002.
She however kickstarted her career working as a news associate with the KCBS-TV located in Los Angeles where she was holding the responsibility for the station’s assembly of scripts and teleprompter operations during newscasts. In addition, she also at times assisted on the assignment desk.
In addition, while away from work, she enjoys fitness, playing at the park with her kids, and outdoors Among the fitness lessons she enjoys include Zumba, Kickboxing, occasional Crossfit class, Spinning, Pilates, and Barre.
