Jerod Smalley is an American journalist who is working for WCMH-TV as sports director at NBC4 since 2006. Also, he serves as an anchor for NBC4 at 5 p.m. since July 2022. He joined the NBC 4 Sports team at NBC4 in 2004. Upon joining the station in 2004, he initially served as a weekend sports anchor till June 2006. Additionally, he has served the station for more than 1 and a half decades.

Prior to this, he served in Huntington, West Virginia WSAZ-TV as a weekend sports anchor from May 2002 to July 2004. In addition to that, from May 2001 to May 2002, he served in Topeka, Kansas at KSNT-TV as sports director.
