On Sunday, October 10th, 2021, Bullock received the sad news that her son died in her womb when she was 33 weeks pregnant. On October 11th, 2021, he was liberated through C-section. As a result of this, her placenta had attached itself to her uterus, and a total hysterectomy, a surgical procedure to remove the womb had to be done on her. They named him Miles which means soldier.
Unfortunately, as a result of the procedure, she can not have any more children. However, she regularly posts messages addressed to her son and says she misses him. After the traumatic experience, she took some time off the media. When she returned she thanked all the emotional support, and prayers messages she got. However, she finds comfort in that he is in heaven.
“On Sunday, October 10th, my husband and I were told at 33 weeks of pregnancy, that our son fell asleep in my womb and would not wake up. His heart stopped beating, and his soul took the journey to heaven. Then, at 2 a.m. Monday, October 11th, he was delivered via c-section. Miles Owen. 3 pounds, 9 ounces, 17 inches long. And he was absolutely beautiful. All of his tiny features so perfect.
But there was no breath in his lungs, and no rhythm in his heart. Shortly after his quiet birth, I was told that the placenta was attached to my uterus. And in order to save MY life, I had to undergo a total hysterectomy. My husband and I had to come to grips with the fact that growing our family in the future, at least biologically, would no longer be an option for us… “she posted on her Instagram account.
