Howe is an afternoon Traffic Reporter for the Homestretch on CBC Radio One. For the past seven years, she has been bringing you upbeat and optimistic traffic reports. Well, as optimistic as traffic can be in Calgary. After attending college Jenny returned to Fort McMurray to work in the oilsands industry. Her science background landed her work in a chemistry lab. Having worked for seven years she got restless and was persuaded by a friend to try her hand at broadcasting.
In 2004 Jenny made a move to Calgary. After graduating in 2006 from the Broadcasting Program, she started her career in radio and her career with CBC. Most mornings Howe can be found doing her version of ‘iron pumping’ at the gym or hitting the snooze button on her alarm. Besides working out and reporting traffic, Jenny is probably ‘sinning out’ with yoga or hitting up the park with her two Boston Terriers, Lola-Bella and Otto.
