Jeff Ray is an American Meteorologist working for CBS 11 in Dallas, Texas as a weekend meteorologist and science/environmental reporter. He joined the station in November 2010.

Jeff Ray Career
Ray serves as the weekend meteorologist and science/environmental reporter at CBS 11 based in Texas. Prior to working at CBS 11, he worked at Young Broadcasting serving as a morning meteorologist
from October 199 to November 2010. From January 1994 to March 1999, he worked at KSHB-TV serving as a meteorologist and feature reporter based in Kansas City, Missouri. He went to The University of Texas at Austin where he attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Media Studies.
Ray later on joined Mississippi State University where he attained his Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Meteorology. He then attained his Master’s degree in Earth Science Teacher Education. Ray is also an avid gardener and is the host of his Fridays Gardening 101 series on CBS11. Whenever he is not busy working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family anD friends. He also enjoys visiting area schools and educating children about the science of weather.
