Greg Warmoth is an American Anchor/Reporter working for WFTV in Orlando, Florida as a Morning News Anchor for Eyewitness News Daybreak. He joined the station on the 2nd of August 1986 working as a weekend sports anchor.

Warmoth is a Morning News Anchor working for WFTV. Prior to joining the WFTV team, he was working with KSTP News in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In the first 11 years, he was working for the station’s weekend sports anchor. He also covered some area-changing events from Orlando’s securing of an NBA franchise to following the team’s march to the NBA Finals. While working for the station as a News Anchor, he enjoys covering sporting events from time to time.
The year 1997 saw him make a switch to the news department and for about 15 years waking up every day at 2:45 AM in order to co-anchor the Eyewitness News Daybreak. Asides from this, he co-anchors Eyewitness News This Morning on TV-27 and Eyewitness News at Noon with Vanessa Echols.
One can also find him anchoring the Eyewitness News at 5, 6, and 11 PM with Tom Terry, and Martha Sugalski. He has also played a role at the Kennedy Space Center where he served as a reporter. He played this role in the movie, “Armageddon.”
Away from work, she works with a number of charitable functions. He states that he finds his work with Special Olympics Florida especially rewarding and enjoys hosting the annual Polar Plunge. Warmoth is actively involved with the Chris DiMarco “Tee Up For Life” pro-am golf tournament. Warmoth stated that in the past 15 years they had raised more than $5 million for children battling cancer. He states that he can be spotted daily on his jogs and walks around the beautiful Lake Eola.
