As an experienced meteorologist, she is passionate about weather and helping viewers understand how it affects them. Before joining teh station, she served as an Evening and Morning Meteorologist and Weather Anchor at KUSI Television for over seven years (January 2016 – March 2023).
Prior to that, she worked at Meruelo Media in Los Angeles County (July 2010 – August 2015) and spent eight years at Mundo Fox and Telemundo 52 in Burbank, California (from June 2002 to July 2010) as a Weather Anchor. Also, whle there, she worked as a co-host of Mundo Fox’s entertainment program “Viva el 22” and Telemundo’s morning show “Acceso Total”. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Technical Operator at FOX Sports in Santa Monica, California (this was from September 1999 to December 2001).
Francella moved to Los Angeles, CA with her family when she was a child and has proudly called Southern California her home ever since. She previously served as a National Weather Association (NWA) Weather Ambassador, and she is now a member of the National Weather Association. Perez has been an aerobics instructor for more than a decade now, and she likes to stay active to date.
