Drew Tuma is an American Meteorologist working for KGO-TV in San Francisco, California, in the United States as a weekend evening meteorologist from 5, 6,9, and 11 p.m. He joined the station in July 2014.

Tuma is a weekend evening meteorologist from 5, 6,9, and 11 p.m for KGO-TV. His passion for the weather was natural to him because he always had a love for math and science. While in high school he was in the weather club and till now he is still a huge nerd at heart. Drew began his career at WHSV TV3 Winchester in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia where he served the station as the Chief Meteorologist. While in the station he was awarded the prestigious AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorology seal.
Afterward, Tuma landed at another station at WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C. While working in the Mid-Atlantic, he has covered all different types of weather events, including the June 2012 Derecho, numerous crippling East Coast blizzards, the devastating Tornado Outbreak in 2011, and Hurricane Sandy coming ashore. He has also traded the snow for sunshine (and some fog!).
Drew says he feels lucky every day for turning his hobby into a career so it never feels like he is really working. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, and running. Last year Tuma participated in his first Triathlon in Richmond, Virginia. Drew’s goal is to complete a full marathon very soon.
