Deiah is a member of the Greater Tampa Chapter of Jack and Jill of America and also a member of the Gamma Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Riley is a founding member of Women for Gulfside Hospice and Palliative Care. She is one of the most requested emcees, hosts, and speakers in the Tampa Bay area.
Among her career highlights was being selected to serve as Grand Marshal of Tampa’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Parade. She was named by Tampa Magazine the “Leading Person of Tampa Bay.” Deiah has also been recognized by the Tampa Bay Association of Black Journalists as a Legacy Award winner.
Riley was honored by The United Negro College Fund for her commitment as a leader and influencer in Tampa’s African American community. She takes pride in mentoring students. Deiah believes everyone has a responsibility to use their connections, voice, and influence to open doors for all those who come after them.
