Harmon attended Desert Vista High School where she graduated in the year 2007. While there, she was playing hockey, and baseball and captained the volleyball team to a 5A state championship. Later on, she went on to join The University of Colorado Boulder where she studied between 2007 and 2011. There, she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and Broadcast News. She also studied Applied Business Certificate.

Harmon works for ABC15 News where she serves the station as a weekend sports anchor and multimedia journalist. She made a return to the Valley from Honolulu, Hawaii. There, she was serving station as a Sports Director at Hawaii News Now, the CBS and NBC affiliate in the islands. Asides from this, she was hosting the Nick Rolovich Show. This was the University of Hawaii football coaches’ show that was syndicated nationally on FOX College Sports.
Harmon later followed Tua Tagovailoa’s rise from high school phenom in order to star quarterback at the University of Alabama. This is in addition to covering special events such as Super Bowl 50, multiple PGA, and LPGA tournaments, and Kobe Bryant’s final training camp with the Lakers.
Prior to moving to Hawaii, she was serving as a weekend sports anchor at KVAL CBS 13 in Eugene, Oregon. While there, for the heyday of Oregon football. This is following its run to the College Football National Championship game and Marcus Mariota winning the first Heisman Trophy in tea history. Asides from this, she also serves as a co-host of “Inside the Pac,” a weekly 30-minute show covering Pac-12 football and men’s basketball. Away from work, she loves trying to be the best dad possible to his little girl and golfing.
