Paredez works for ABC15 News where she serves the station as a late news reporter. Asides from this, she has spent the past ten years of her career working in several markets across Texas. Prior to making a move to Phoenix, she was working as a Good Day reporter for FOX 4 News.
While there, she gave hourly reports during the six-hour newscast while covering everything from breaking news, court, and criminal cases to stories with local impact. Among her most notable work was her coverage of a string of tornadoes that left a path of destruction throughout North Texas. This includes showcasing the damage nationally on FOX & Friends. She has also spent five years working for FOX 7 Austin as a weekend evening anchor and night-side reporter.
She also covered a series of investigations into mysterious homicides in Del Valle. Asides from this, she was sent to Houston in order to cover the devastation of Tropical Storm Harvey. This was while contributing work and live reports to dozens of FOX stations across the country.
Asides from this, she did similar national coverage on the church shooting in Sutherland Springs and package bombs in Austin. In her time there, she received several honors and awards from the Associated Press. Her first career first started behind the scenes as a producer in Amarillo. Later on, she was also promoted to be a reporter and weekend anchor.
During her final year, she was helping rebrand the morning show as a weekday anchor and reporter and as an executive producer. While there, she also interviewed former President George W. Bush during the Wounded Warrior 100K bike ride. He also helped raise thousands of donations for the tornado victims in Shawnee and Moore, Oklahoma. Paredes states that she is loving the Valley and hopes to continue making a difference in the lives of the people she serves.
