The station was also awarded the Emmy for Daytime Newscast from the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).
Chris also worked at WISN-TV in Milwaukee and WMTV in Madison, Wisconsin as a News Director. He started his career at KQTV in St. Joseph, Missouri as a reporter. But he later realized he preferred a behind-the-scenes role. He rose through the ranks as a line producer, having worked at television stations in Texas, Ohio, Florida, and Michigan. He is a member of the RTDNA: Radio Television Digital News Association.
