Aiden German is an American Meteorologist /Anchor/Multi-Media Journalist working for WHAS11 in Louisville, Kentucky, in the United States as a meteorologist for the 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. He joined the station in October 2019. Before joining the station he worked as a Weekend Meteorologist and MMJ for KLKN-TV.

German is a meteorologist for WHAS-TV the First Alert Storm Team at 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. newscasts. Growing up, he was one of those kids who was afraid of thunderstorms but loved snow. In May 2003, an outbreak of tornadoes ripped through his home in Kansas City. While his house was spared, the event solidified his fear of storms, and eventually learned that these people on TV seemed to know the future, therefore he started watching the news to get an idea of what the weather would be like. That also sparked his interest in broadcasting.
While at the University of Kansas, Aiden helped build a weather department for the student-run television station KUJH-TV. He also had the unique opportunity to fill in and do forecasts for the hyper-local cable station that served Lawrence and surrounding small communities. After graduating from college, he moved to the north to Lincoln, Nebraska to work at KLKN where he served as a meteorologist and reporter.
Nebraska saw wild weather during his time, including one of the snowiest winters ever and the catastrophic flooding of March 2019 that he got to cover firsthand. During his free time, you can find him in the gym or reading a book.
