Minogue is an anchor for WHAS-TV’s “Good Morning Kentuckiana” from 4:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. and also reports on your favorite hometowns in the weekly segment, ‘Kentuckiana Proud.’ She first joined the WHAS11 team as a weekend morning anchor, then moved to weekdays to help launch ‘The Big 4,’ an hour-long newscast hyper-focused on Kentuckiana news.
Since joining the WHAS11 team, Hayley has also created several award-winning reporting pieces, most notably a Regional Murrow Award-winning piece about suicide and the bridges connecting Kentucky to Indiana. While at WHAS, she has crafted her storytelling by focusing on real people, and their real, first-hand experiences. Being born and raised a Louisvillian, she has watched the city grow and develop into an amazing hub for arts, music, entertainment, and FOOD.
Minogue is heavily involved in her hometown community, she is passionate about several groups she’s joined to help emcee events, including Go Red for Women, Kids Cancer Alliance, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana. She’s also an active chair member of the Out of the Darkness walk, an annual event to bring attention to suicide awareness and prevention.
Hayley started her career in news writing about women’s college basketball for Kentucky Sports Radio while she was an intern at the station. After serving for three years with KSR, she graduated from college and was well prepared for her first TV news job in Hazard, Ky. Her two years in the mountains of Southeastern Kentucky are cherished memories and paved the way for a three-year stretch at the CBS affiliate in Mobile, AL. and Pensacola, Fl. Market.
During her free time, Minogue enjoys experiencing all the region has to offer. She’s a big fan of Louisville’s park system and zoo, LouCity, and Racing, Kentucky’s humid summers, the Bats and the Cats, breweries and distilleries, live music from alternative to rap, her son Jackson and her partner (who prefers a little privacy).
