Chris Easlick Career
Easlick serves as the chief meteorologist at WNEM-TV based in Saginaw, Michigan. In addition to these roles, he also serves as the weeknight 5:30 and 7 PM three nights per week, and all weekend evening newscasts at 6, 10, and 11 PM. Prior to these roles, he served as the weekday morning meteorologist from 4:30-7 AM and during a 9 AM lifestyle-type newscast from November 2016 to February 2022. On joining WNEM-TV5, he served as a meteorologist trainee from April 2015 to June 2015.
In addition to his roles at WNEM-TV, he works at Saginaw Valley State University where he served as an adjunct physics professor since August 2018. From September 2011 to April 2015, he worked at News Central 34 where he served as a meteorologist based in Mt.Pleasant, MI. He had previously spent about 3 months working at WWMT-TV where he interned and also served as the graphics assistant and also monitored the station’s social media platforms.
In 2010, he joined Central Michigan University where he attained his Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology in 2015. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. He also enjoys playing college football, baseball, and a ton of other outdoor activities.
